OPICO has announced the launch of the TJG300 with Stocks Ag 1000L steel hopper. The direct drill is 3m wide, with 20 spring loaded discs spaced at 150mm centres. Featuring a pressurised steel hopper with a 1000L capacity for reduced refill frequency and interchangeable feed block rollers, for sowing a variety of seeds.

OPICO will be attending ScotGrass on the 13^th May 2026, showcasing a range of grassland machinery and direct drills including the Simtech TJG 300. This will be the first working event since the brand takeover in 2025, and a great opportunity to show the capability of these drills in the field.

• OPICO are advising farmers and contractors on how to get the most from their grassland, from optimising yields to working out in fields earlier.
• OPICO’s wide portfolio offers solutions to the key battles faced by UK farmers: from drainage issues after a wet winter to the question of overseeding vs a full reseed.

• Final scheduled FETF round opens 17 March 2026, offering £1,000–£25,000 grants.
• Multiple OPICO machines qualify, including the high‑scoring FarmDroid FD20 (£25k max) and the new HE‑VA G‑Drill (up to £15,067, 50% funding).

A mix of specialist grassland seeders and more mainstream arable machines, the line-up includes straightforward mechanical box-drills and wider, more sophisticated pneumatic units.
